Workshops

The EUconomics Workshop series aims to foster debates and exchange of ideas and experiences on a major and topical European issue, that of the way fiscal and monetary policies are adopted in the European Union countries, based on the realities and challenges that the economy and society are facing, and of the impact of their implementation.

Through the EUconomics Workshops, the team intends to reunite and reconcile two perspectives, on the one hand that of public administrators responsible for the adoption and implementation of fiscal and monetary policy decisions (based on the inputs and reactions from the real economy) and, on the other hand, that of the business environment and of the banking and financial sector representatives, on which the impact of the decisions is reflected.

The events will bring together students, academics, and representatives of the public and monetary authorities, financial and banking institutions, and the business environment. Attendance is, however, opened to all those interested in enhancing their knowledge and expressing their opinions on the topic of the practical challenges of the adoption and implementation of fiscal and monetary policy decisions in the EU countries.
